Why 50 is the Perfect Season for a Rebrand (and I Didn’t Even Know It)
There is a profound, quiet beauty in the way a new season sneaks up on you. For a long time, I respected the rhythm of the seasons the sowing, the waiting, and the harvesting—but I’ll be the first to admit that I didn’t see "Entrepreneurship: Part Two" on my 50th-birthday bingo card.
I knew the landscape of my work was shifting. I could feel the internal tectonic plates moving, signaling that the ground I had stood on for years was being repurposed for something new. Yet knowing a change is coming and knowing what that change looks like in the form of a business plan are two very different things.
Turning 50 wasn't just a milestone; it was a divine appointment. I knowwww this to be true.
The Shoulder Tap
I have to credit God and His infinite wisdom for the way this transition unfolded. It wasn't a loud, chaotic disruption. It was a gentle, persistent tap on the shoulder. It was the realization that while I was busy planning for what’s next, He was already laying out the step-by-step for what purpose looks like on this side of mid-life.
Many of us spend our younger years building based on what we think we should do. But there is a specific kind of clarity that arrives at 50. It’s a season where the noise of external expectations fades, and the voice of calling becomes a roar.
New Methods, Same Calling
One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned in this rebrand is that the calling never changes, but the methods and formats often do. That sounds like a slogan, but it’s so true. Sometimes we have to let time take its course to understand that, and I’m thankful to have some skin in the game.
The why behind my work has remained steady for decades, but the how has been completely reimagined. Launching back into the entrepreneurial world at this stage isn't about starting over; it’s about starting from experience. It’s about taking the wisdom of the last five decades and distilling it into an enterprise designed to bring liberation in every sense of the word. And let me tell you, my head was turned another direction, preparing to do something else.
This is what the enterprise is offering you:
Body: Honoring the temple we inhabit.
Mind: Finding peace amidst the pivot.
Soul & Spirit: Aligning our daily walk with our eternal purpose.
A Mission of Service
I am stepping into this new chapter with a heart full of gratitude and a spirit of assurance. This isn't just a business; it’s a multi-mission. It is a vessel for service, designed to impact lives and offer the same liberation I have found in following this divine breadcrumb trail.
If you find yourself at a crossroads, whether you’re 30, 50, or 70+, know that your rebrand is never too late. It is always right on time. We are here to serve, to grow, and to witness the incredible things that happen when you say "yes" to the shoulder tap as I did. I dedicate this rebranding to my mother because, although her pivot wasn’t an enterprise, she showed me how to rewrite a chapter at any age. She had a program called “Begin Again,” and I’ve been thinking about it during this planning phase.
I encourage you to share this journey with others.
Let’s allow our lives to be impacted by the beauty of a fresh start.
The best is not behind us; it is unfolding right now.
