Here’s The Latest: August 2026
What's New?What We’re Sitting With:
the tension and hostility that we’re feeling in our world, namely America
the concern of 300K+ black women who remain unemployed
the systemic attacks on many marginalized groups of people
Abiding ActivityWhat is your natural way of going to God?
(meaning spending a moment with God in conversation, silence, or contemplation)
The beautiful and sustaining gift in your faith walk is that this approach is ever evolving. There are some seasons where your time with God is early morning for an hour, in reading and praying.
Another season of growth and curiosity may shift your God moments to evening quietness and exploration of Scripture.
The freedom of faith and its holy beauty is that we are never confined to how we “be with God” because He remains expandable in how He spends time with us.
God is not static
God is not one-dimensional; He has many facets of Himself to show…the seeker.
Jeremiah 29: 13 - He is a guaranteed presence
Let’s Study Together
Picture this…
We are gathered in a comfy space: bibles, notebooks, iPads, questions, and curiosities.
We choose a text that is centered on a question in life that we struggle with (i.e., purpose, why bad things happen to good people, depression, how does God feel about this thing?)
And using our tools, conversations, and search of scripture and context, we discover truth together.
I believe this is one of the most powerful ways to use community for Bible study and to learn how to navigate the Bible, which feels intimidating for most people.
On our return together, this is what we are going to do.
